You have 14 days from the date of receiving your order to request a return without giving any reason (EU “cooling-off period”).
To be eligible for a return:
Items must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition you received them.
Items must include original packaging, tags, or seals.
Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is required.

⚠️ Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
For food safety and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
Perishable goods (fresh, frozen, dairy, etc.)
Opened or unsealed food items (e.g. snacks, teas, spices)
Personal care or hygiene products once opened
Customized or personalized products
Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
Gift cards
Sale/clearance items (unless explicitly stated otherwise)
👉 If you are unsure whether your product qualifies, please contact us before opening or using it.
Please check your package upon delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours at office@indianhouse.pl.
When reporting, include:
Order number
Photos of the outer packaging, shipping label, inside of the box, the item, and (if applicable) batch/expiry date
✅ We will arrange a replacement, missing product shipment, store credit, or refund.
⚠️ Damage caused by improper storage after delivery (e.g. melting, spoilage due to heat) is not covered.
For voluntary returns (change of mind), the customer pays return shipping.
If delivery was paid at checkout, we will refund the cost of the cheapest available delivery option (EU law). Extra costs for express shipping are non-refundable.
If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, wrong item), we cover all shipping costs.

We do not offer direct exchanges.
For a new product, please return your item and place a new order.
If the issue was our mistake, we will send a replacement free of charge.
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you about approval or rejection.
If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Your bank or card issuer may take extra time to process the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you have not received your refund, contact us at office@indianhouse.pl.
Allergen & food safety: Opened products cannot be returned. Always check ingredients and allergen info before opening.
Best before dates: Short shelf-life products are clearly marked; this is not considered a defect.
Storage: Customers are responsible for proper storage (e.g. refrigeration after delivery).
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, or refusal of acceptance, we can:
Resend the order once shipping is repaid, or
Refund the product value minus shipping costs (if items are return-eligible).
